It’s a startling statistic. 97% of all people who start a home business, whether it’s MLM or something else… FAIL! It truly is a black eye for the home business industry. A statistic it would rather sweep under the rug so no one can see it.

So what is the difference between the top 3% and the rest? What does it really take to excel where 97% of people don’t?

To answer this question, first…

I’m going to give an inside look at what a loosing formula looks like, not to discourage you, but to rather educate you on how NOT to build a home business. A little later I’ll show you the solution.

Oh yeah, that and for X years it’s how I struggled to build a home business. If you have struggled in home business before you might relate… if you’re lucky enough not to have joined a traditional MLM you’ll still learn something.

But First an Introduction…

Hello, my name is Preston Rodriques along with my wife Tatiana we are home business entrepreneurs out of (city) Minnesota. I appreciate you taking the time to find out more about me.

Before you get the idea that we were born into money and success, you should know the truth.

We are just regular people. I am originally from India, Tatiana as the name sounds is originally from Russia, We’ve been married for just over 3 years now and how we met is another story but we did realize that we unknowingly used the concepts as seen in the Movie “The Secret”.

I’m an engineer by trade and Tatiana has a background in hotel management, but I always wanted to be an entrepreneur and have a business of my own.

Breaking the Golden Rule…

No I’m not talking about that “Golden Rule”, I’m talking about the golden rule of
go to school, get good grades, and get a safe secure job.

I saw people at work spend 10, 15, 25+ years at their job and they just didn’t
have a glow or excitement anymore. It seemed like they were just going through the motions.

Was that to be me in 25 years?

I decided the average life in what Robert Kiyosaki calls the “Rat Race” was not for me, but a traditional business was out of the question. Too much overhead and I didn’t have the free time to put in all the hours.

In order to break the mold of the average I was going to have to do something else.

That’s when, like most people looking for financial freedom, I found Multi-Level Marketing.

Why It Took Me 4 Years to Learn How to Build a Business…

When I first got into MLM to find financial freedom and a better lifestyle I didn’t know the real failure statistics. You might say I was caught up in the dream that lures most people into the home business industry.

When I met then married my wife Tatiana, she came on board it became our
home business we worked on together.

The only problem…

When you are working a loosing formula and you get someone to help you… you only double a loosing formula.

I never been one to quit after a little hardship or back down from a challenge, I take my business success very seriously. If there was a way for me to make money in MLM I was going to find it.

But…

I don’t consider quality time with my wife prospecting at the mall or grocery
store. I can not tell you how much time we spent in public places looking for people who would be the next downline super star earner.

And the list goes on…

We held home meetings, gave away free samples, expensive brochures and marketing material. People would take them, agree to a follow up meeting… then disappear.

We bought lead lists and cold called people that had no clue how to run a home
business, and tried to recruit them.

I read somewhere that it takes 10,000 hours of practice to master a skill. I didn’t spend that much time recruiting on the phone… but it sure felt like it.

Our upline would say “just keep prospecting, eventually you’ll find a winner” or “buy more cd’s and read more books” so I kept doing the same thing expecting a different result.

When I say we gave our business everything we could… I mean it! I would drive thousands of miles, to company meetings, presentations, and seminars for no financial return.

Ahhhh… all that wasted time and money! I can’t believe I used to think that was good marketing.

To work that hard and not see results is frustrating to say the least… But
I refuse to look at my 4 years struggling with MLM as a failure, but instead as
a learning experience, or training ground for the business I run now.

It was at this time a fellow MLM sufferer who I hadn’t seen in a few months showed me how he changed and was making more from his home business than his professional job.

He also explained to me why I was struggling and not making money with my MLM business.

It was then he shared with me…

Two Words that Would Change My Home Business Forever!

The home business industry has grown up… it has graduated from the labor intensive marketing methods of the 70’s and 80’s.

Such as buying leads, cold calling, bugging your family and friends, printing fliers, prospecting at public stores or gatherings, handing out expensive marketing materials and samples, coffee house meetings, home meetings… you get the idea.

Those days are over… they’ve been replaced by a revolutionary marketing concept. So powerful it literally makes all the old school home business marketing methods obsolete.

Instead of chasing people down, calling them on the phone… they come to you with credit card in hand looking to join your business!

The other 2 issues I was struggling with in MLM

1. NOT leveraging the internet and

2. NOT making a full time income from day one

Was still on my mind.

Until…

I came across the “Coffee House Letter” which introduced me to a
revolutionary concept called GPT.

The potential to make a full time income from day one is now possible and I also leverage the internet 24/7 on auto-pilot.

Taking a business off-line to on-line can be scary if you don’t have internet
experience. I know because I’m not an internet marketing wizard.

With the right leaders, mentors and cutting-edge education not only was I able to accelerate my learning curve, but you can too.

I’ll level with you…

If you’ve been in network marketing you know it’s a LOT harder then they tell you…

I’ve been the MLM failure I know it’s frustrating to see people at the top make
